America's Next Top Model

Whitney Lee Thompson Forrester is an American fashion model, most notable as the winner of cycle 10 of ANTM in 2008.

Early Life

Before the show, Whitney worked at Chets Creek Elementary School in the before-and-after-school day care programs and studied at Duncan U. Fletcher High School, and the University of North Florida.

Thompson had been on the cover of Jacksonville magazine three times.

Whitney was the ninth girl to be selected as one of the finalists to enter the house. She received a blonde hair weave for her makeover. Thompson received the first call-out during the music-themed photo shoot. She also won one CoverGirl of the Week title, the last of her cycle. She won three challenges, two of which with a team, during the competition.

Half of the judging panel often criticized her performances and personality as being 'too pageant' and 'fake'. Despite being featured in the bottom two a total of four times, she won the season.

She later made guest appearances in episode 9 of cycle 11, and in episode six of cycle 22.[1]

As part of the prize package awarded to her, Thompson received a contract with CoverGirl Cosmetics cosmetics and a contract from Elite Model Management. She also had a cover and six-page editorial spread in the July 2008 issue of Seventeen. Thompson's CoverGirl contract includes a U.S. national TV commercial, print advertising, and a billboard in Times Square.

She has also been signed to Wilhelmina Models. She was in Plus Model Magazine in January 2010, Animal Fair Magazine, and Supermodels Unlimited in September/October 2008. She's also a spokesmodel for Smile Stylists, modeled for Metrostyle, JC Penney, Diana Warner Jewelry, Forever 21, Saks Fifth Avenue, the face for Torrid, Converse One Star, Fashion Bug, and a campaign with Pure Energy/Target, Fall 2010, and the face for Panache lingerie, Winter 2014.
