"The Runway Ahead" is a one hour special post-finale where are they now episode of cycle 2 of America's Next Top Model. It first aired on March 23, 2004.
Episode[]
The special opens with Tyra explaining how difficult it is to eliminate a girl. Mercedes is first up. She is now walking for Lloyd Klein, Rock & Republic, she signed to Nous Models, she was in Seventeen magazine, and she is starring in an independent film called "Loveless".
Sara is now shooting her first photoshoot for Maxim, and she is also walking for Rock & Republic. Catie is seen doing radio interviews and getting autographs. She is walking for Louis Verdad. Anna is currently searching for agencies.
Shandi is traveling to New York to meet with eight agencies, and she has been featured in Glamour and CosmoGirl. Bethany could not be reached for an interview. Jenascia is working at Hooters. April is shooting for Stuff magazine, and signed to New York Models.
Xiomara is now bartending, is signed to Boss Models, and shot for FHM. Heather is searching for jobs. Camille is posing with fans and clubbing. Yoanna is being interviewed on "The Early Show" and "Regis & Kelly: Live!". She is collecting her prizes, which is a campaign with Sephora, a spread in Jane magazine, and a contract with IMG Models. She is now interviewed by Ryan Seacrest, and she's walking for Custo Barcelona in LA Fashion Week. She is celebrating her twenty-fourth birthday with her family.
The special ends with Tyra announcing auditions are open for Cycle 3.
