Tessa Rebecca Carlson is an American fashion model. She competed on Cycle 1.

Early Life

Before the show, Tessa appeared in the movie "A-Game" in 2002.

ANTM

After eight girls were selected to be in the penthouse, Tessa was brought in with Giselle as 2 surprise contestants. Her main moment in the house was bonding with Adrianne about being the only two smokers in the cast. When they both smoke in a corner, Robin confronts them and asks them to take it outside, to which Tessa responds "Great, this is all I need".

At the first photoshoot, Tessa was visibly uncomfortable with the bikini she was wearing and later told the judges at panel she didn't like wearing revealing clothing. Janice Dickinson questioned this, asking why she was here because models often wear that type of clothing. She was sent home over Shannon.

She got married on November of 2007. She is a mother of one son and one daughter.

• Tessa and Giselle Samson are the first models to be added to the cast after the casting week occurred. They would be followed by Ren Vokes.
• Tessa is the first model in the history of ANTM to be eliminated.
• Tessa actually participated in the Stuff shoot in Episode 2, as the Stuff magazine issue would be released before the season airs. Tessa was in the spread to avoid spoilers.
• Tessa, Anna Bradfield, Angelia Alvarez and Jasmia Robinson are the only models in the history of ANTM to appear in one singular episode.
