Shannon Niquette Ratliff (née Stewart) was a contestant on Cycle 1 of ANTM in 2003, where she was the runner-up. She later returned for All-Stars in 2011 where she was the ninth girl eliminated and placed sixth.

Shannon was known for her religious beliefs, and being good friends with fellow Christians Robin and Kesse. This caused a divide between them and Adrianne and Elyse.
She was known to have a crush on a male model, Brad Pinkert, who she met in Paris in the top five, while doing a lingerie photoshoot, and eventually going on a date with him.
She refused to pose naked in the top four, but was saved due to Robin not doing the shoot either and worse behavior on set. She was ultimately placed second over Adrianne.

Cycle 17: All-Stars[]
In All-Stars, Shannon stated she would never pose in any lingerie anymore because it was only meant for her husband to see. She faced criticism from Mr. Jay in episode one for wearing only a cloth bikini bottom without a lace skirt, despite the bikini showing more skin.
She was known for clashing multiple times with Bianca starting with an altercation over the phone time, with Lisa defending Shannon. Bianca consistently dubbed Shannon "The Crying Christian" in later episodes. When the girls went to Greece, she refused to pose in lingerie again at the Greek salad shoot. She was eliminated that week over Laura.

After the show, Shannon signed with Elite Models in Chicago and Major Model Management.
She has modeled for Nuj Novakhett, ElleGirl, Teen Vogue, Sydney, Six Degrees and Ford Fusion. Shannon has been featured on the covers of Arizona Foothills and Sound & Vision.[1][2]
Her runway shows include Elle Girl presents Dare To Be You: Wal-Mart Meets America’s Next Top Models in 2005, and Richard Tyler, Alice and Olivia, and Sprite Street Couture, Fashion Institute of Technology, Gustavo Arango, Alice Dobson and Olympus Fashion Week in 2006.[3]

- Shannon, alongside fellow contestant Robin Manning, are the first girls to not participate in the photoshoot of the week. Shannon is the first girl to survive a week without a photo, she would later be followed by Fatima Siad.
- Shannon is also the first girl to not participate in two photoshoots in two different cycles.
- Shannon was the first contestant from Ohio.
- Shannon stated in an Instagram livestream with Adrianne that Brad only said the bible was his favorite book because he thought it would be good for the interview.
- Shannon is the only girl from Cycle 1 that returned in a future cycle.
- Shannon holds the record for the longest gap between ANTM cycles, with 15.
- She almost participated in the Greek salad shoot. She was given a rack of clothes to choose from, found a swimsuit, and gave it to one of the producers, who approved at first, but changed their mind. Her explanation at the judging on why she didn't pose in lingerie but was OK with swimwear was also completely edited out.
- Shannon is the lowest-placing previous finalist in All-Stars.
- On an Instagram story Q&A, she revealed that she did meet and get to know Ka (Ebony's girlfriend), but it was edited out to further push her closed-minded Christian narrative.
