America's Next Top Model

Robbyne "Robin" Antoinette Manning is an American fashion model. She competed on Cycle 1.

ANTM[]

Robin was infamous for being portrayed as the main villain of cycle 1, as well as her strong religious beliefs. In episode two, she confronts Elyse's atheism by showing her a bible verse saying "Foolish is the man who says there is no God" which Elyse berates her for later in her confessional rant. In the same episode, Robin confronts Ebony for trying to hide the Tyra Mail, eventually forcing all the girls to hold hands and make a prayer circle.

Robin also had drama from the judges. In episode three, she threw a fit about getting her hair color lightened at makeovers, earning her a bottom three call-out. She also faced criticism from Janice for being too old and big to be a model throughout, as well as referring to people as "Sir" and "Ma'am" in a pageant way.

When the top five go to Paris, Robin pays a boy on the street to help guide her to each of the go-sees in the challenge, which the judges weren't approving of. She refused to participate in the nude shoot next episode, but Mr. Jay revealed that Robin shook her bare breasts in the changing room, which Tyra confronted to Robin about at the judging. She was sent home that episode over Shannon.

Quotes[]

  • "People are taking the word, "competitiveness", and are turning this definition around, Lord. And Lord, I ask that you remove any negative thing...that is...anything that is not like you, that is not of you. And Lord, only one person can win, and the awesome thing about it is that you already know who that is. Lord, give us a clean spirit, Lord. Pure and whole, Jesus. Clear our minds, Lord. -- And don't let us...look to be vindictive and catty and...self-righteous, and all those other things that are of demonic presence. And Lord, you don't have to believe in order to know that...it's just about being a good person, Lord. And I know that's not fashionable, being a good person. And bind Satan, Jesus. Amen."
  • "HOW EXCELLENT!"
  • "He was lustin'!"
