Nina J. Burns was a contestant on cycle 20 of ANTM in 2013. She was eliminated in episode twelve and placed seventh overall.

Nina hula hooped for the judges in auditions, and many fans loved her for her resemblance to Allison Harvard. Later, she comforted Chris H. when the other guys were confronting him about punching Phil in the crotch. She was the eleventh model called to the final cast, and later was the first girl to fall in the vertical runway challenge.

In episode four, she was concerned about walking in the turntable runway because she sprained her ankle during casting. In episode six, Chris became angered by his low score in the challenge and began taking it out on other contestants. Nina attempted to calm him down but he blew up at her, shocking and hurting her. She completely ignored him at the nail art shoot. She was later upset that he picked Alex instead of her to share the Guess closet in episode ten. She won the first call-out for the Flaw shoot with Zendaya that week.

In episode eleven, she was concerned again for the underwater runway challenge. She revealed that she had a piece of her lungs removed due to an airborne fungus. Her and Don had to take photos instead, and they had the lowest challenge scores. She redeemed herself at the Animorph shoot, and was called first again despite Rob Evans's low score.

In episode twelve, Chris was complaining about how he was the only person who didn't have a friend in the house, which upset Nina. She later had average scores from the judges at the rice paddy shoot, and despite high scores from social media, she was shockingly eliminated with Jeremy.
