Naomi Collings, née Thompson was a contestant on cycle 1 of AusNTM in 2005. She was the first girl eliminated and placed tenth.

In her only episode, Naomi was mostly judged for her lack of visual modeling potential. She called herself a "fatty boombah" when the girls were having their measurements done. Later, the photographer, Nick Leary, compared her head to a smashed crab during the Rogue swimwear photoshoot. Later in judging, there were concerns about her height, namely from Alex Perry. She was in the bottom two with Nicole, and became the first girl eliminated.

Post-Show

After the show, Naomi signed with New Models in Athens, Greece. She took many tests, and was in the magazines Helmi and Coast Living. She also participated in the Townsville Fashion Festival. In 2017, she was on the cover of DUO magazine with her dog.

In 2016, she was one of many alumni to walk in the cycle 10 finale runway.

She is currently the owner of her own swimwear company called Kamara, co-founded with her sister Kirsty.

• Naomi is the very first girl ever to be eliminated in Australia's Next Top Model history. She makes her the "Tessa" of her country.
• She is the first AusNTM girl to achieve 10th place. She is also the first to rank in the double digits.
• She is the first girl to be eliminated from an Oceanic Top Model.
• Her and Gemma are the first 22-year olds to compete.
• She is the first natural red-head to compete on AusNTM.
