Monique Shevey Calhoun ( Monique StaTeena ) was a contestant from cycle 7 of ANTM in 2006. She was the third girl eliminated and placed eleventh.

ANTM[]

Monique was infamous for her horrible behavior around the house. In episode two, she was the only girl to not claim a bed, so she poured water on Eugena's bed and said that it was her pee.

In episode three, she had a meltdown at makeovers because she didn't want anyone to see her without a weave. Mr. Jay and Ms. Jay both went into the bathroom to ridicule her. Later, she missed the elevator from the CoverGirl challenge and was disqualified. She later took her anger out on the girls by hogging the phone for hours. This led to Anchal breaking into the phone room and having a screaming match with Monique.

Monique was also known for her rivalry with Melrose. Melrose accidentally hit Monique with the phone door so Monique intentionally bumped into her walking into the phone room. Later, while the girls were reading a Tyra mail, Monique flicked her dirty shower water into Melrose's face. She also rubbed her dirty panties onto Melrose's bed.

In the recap episode, Monique was mad at her Dorito's going missing, so she smashed all the chips in the kitchen. Amanda confronted her by opening all the cabinets showing her all the other food.

In episode four, she got sick and decided to not partake in the wobbly runway photoshoot. The judges thought that she used the sickness as an excuse. She was eliminated over Eugena.

Melrose was almost considered disqualified for slamming the phone door on Monique, but they later ruled it an accident.[1]
