Michael James "Mike" Scocozza was a contestant on cycle 20 of ANTM in 2013. He was the fourth model eliminated and placed thirteenth.

ANTM

Mike was known for being scouted by Tyra when she saw him working at a Coolhaus ice cream food truck. He was the second model called to the final cast.

In episode two, he did a poor job at the vertical runway challenge, and tied with Bianca for having the lowest score. The two later became drunk and kisses in the confessional. Later in judging, he was outshone by Alex in the marriage photoshoot, and put in the bottom three. He had a higher score than Bianca and Chris S. and was saved.

In episode three, he redeemed himself at the S&M photoshoot, and shockingly won the first call-out. In episode four, he told Chris H. to shut up, which caused the two to get into an argument. Chris held a house meeting to explain his behavior, which everyone but Mike understood. Later, he performed another bad walk at the rotating platform runway challenge, and he was mediocre at the trailer park photoshoot. In judging, he was in the bottom two with Jeremy, and was eliminated with a 0.10 difference in scores. Tyra said she didn't want to eliminate him, but the fans preferred Jeremy.

Post-Show

After the show, Mike signed with Slater Model Management and MSA Models in Los Angeles. As of 2020, he is signed to O Models. He was in the magazines Bello, MFI, Ellements, The Fashionisto, HUF, Elle Spose, InstaBrand, Fantastics, Vulkan, Blurred Lines, Guy, OhLaLa and Fashionably Male.

Personal Life

He has since founded his own clothing line, Gentry + Rose. He has a wife named Lauren, married in 2019, and they have a daughter named Lil.

Trivia

• Mike is the first and so far only 27-year old to compete on the show. He is the sixth oldest model to ever compete. He is beaten by Brittany, Lisa and Camille from All-Stars, and Khrystyana, Christina and Erin from cycle 24.
• Mike is the oldest male model to compete on ANTM, with him being 27 during Cycle 20.
• He is the first contestant to be older than one of the judges, Rob Evans.
