Mikaela L. Schipani is an Mexican-American fashion model. She was a contestant on cycle 16 of ANTM in 2011. She was the eighth girl eliminated and placed seventh.

Mikaela impressed the judges with her strong bone structure and exotic features, but was criticized for never showing emotion in her face. Her versatility was also questioned. She did not earn any first, second or third call-outs, and appeared in the bottom two twice, the first time with Monique in episode six.
She appeared in the bottom two with Brittani, who had bad behavior involving her dislike of Alexandria. Despite Tyra saying she wanted Mikaela to remain in the competition, the other judges outvoted and Mikaela was eliminated.[1] Tyra said that she hasn't disagreed so hard with an elimination since Toccara Jones.

After the show, Mikaela has signed with I Model Management, Paragon Models Mexico, Fenton Moon New York and Ford Models Miami.[2][3]
She was in the magazines Annapolis Lifestyle, Baltimore Style, Boca Raton, Creem, Elle, Ellements, Level, Men's Fitness, Mirrin, Ocean Drive, People, SoFi, Swiss Watch International and Vogue.[4] She had a show card for New York Fashion Week S/S 2013.
She was in commercials for Bank of America, CB Insurance, Coca-Cola, Dunkin' Donuts, ITT Tech, Jupiter SEO, Samy Hair, Tampax, Travelvision and U.S. Mold.[5]
Personal Life[]
She has since retired from modeling. She founded her own coffee shop called Cyth & Co with her partner in 2020, and is working as a barista.[6]
Mikaela is of German-American and Mexican descent.
