Mamé Adjei was a contestant on cycle 22 of ANTM in 2015, where she was the runner-up.
Early Life[]
Mamé is American born and of Ghanian descent. Due to her father being a Ghanian diplomat, she was raised partly by various guardians in Accra, Ghana, Geneva, Switzerland, and Maryland. She began modeling at sixteen years old.[1]
She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in political science, African American studies and business.[2] Prior to the show, she won the title of Miss Maryland USA. She later competed in the 2015 Miss USA contest, where she placed in the top five.[3][4]

In auditions, Mamé explained her highly privileged upbringing, even having her own personal cook. However, her parents had her move to America to live with her uncle, devastating her. She was the winner of the pose-off mirror challenge and was the very first contestant to stay in the Tyra suite. She was the third model to survive the shipping container runway.
In episode three, she caught feelings for Justin during the bound in pairs photoshoot. Their relationship stayed the same for the majority of the competition. In episode five, she gave him a hickey which caused him to do bad in the retouching challenge. In episode six, he was jealous of her kissing Mikey during the photoshoot with Whitney Thompson. Later in that episode, she walked into the bathroom while Hadassah was taking a shower. The two got into a heated argument, which continued in the limo ride. Mamé compared the two's pageant history while Hadassah called her ghetto.
In episode eight, her team won the Vine challenge. In episode nine, she did the best job at the go-see challenge, but was disqualified for being late. The prize went to Hadassah instead. She was later devastated that Justin was eliminated at that weeks panel. In episode thirteen, she seductively cuddled with Mikey in a log cabin in the woods. Devin told Justin about this after his elimination, and he made his frustration known at the final runway challenge.
She was chosen over Lacey for the final two, but lost to Nyle at the finale judging.

Post-Show[]
After the show, Mamé signed with Abrams Artists Agency, NEXT Models Los Angeles and Worldwide, and State Management. As of 2022, she is with The Management NYC, Models 1 London and Ice Models Cape Town.[5][6]
In 2016, she shared a cover and spread in Ellements magazine with Justin,[7] as well as a spread in ABookOf.us with Keith Carlos,[8][9] and a page in Supermodels Unlimited with All-Stars Laura Kirkpatrick, Bianca Golden, Brittany Brower, and cycle 20's Chris Hernandez.[10] She was also in Parallel, Hacid, Nylon Indonesia, Shape Up Sweden, Nude, Harper's Bazaar Kazakhstan, Damernas Varld Scandinavia, Spotted, Factice, Glitz Africa, L'Officiel USA, Fault, C'SMART Magazine Martinique, Scratch and Vogue Portugal.[11]
She was one of many alumni to model for Tyra Beauty.[12] She also worked for Lucky Brand, Reformation, MPG Sport, Galaxy 5000 Hair Extensions, Michael Costello, Yomaste, Honey Fashion Accessories, Truworths, Wet Seal, Karen Millen, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Carbon38, LPA, Vlisco, Nasty Gal, Savage x Fenty, Boohoo, Twenty Montreal, The Zoe Report x Bloomingdale's, Walmart, Bluebella Lingerie, Cabi, Reebok x Victoria Beckham, Ona, NSF, Heroine Sport, Beyond Yoga, Beach Riot, Atm Anthony Thomas Melillo, Adidas x Lotta Volkova, Dorothy Perkins, Fabletics, Glyder Apparel, Good American, Jaanuu, Kiki de Montparnasse, MPG Sport, BITE Beauty, ShoeDazzle, Arbonne, Smashbox Cosmetics Petal Metal Collection and Ellie Activwear.[13]
She has worked for Gripbell, and was in national Samsung and Pandora Jewelry campaigns.[14][15] She was featured in a commercial for Intel and for Lexus twice. She was in the music videos for A$AP Ferg & Big Sean's "World Is Mine"[16], and Prince Royce's "Una Aventura".[17]
In September 2016, she walked at the Nolcha Shows as well as Comme Tu Es for New York Fashion Week.[18][19] In NYFW S/S17, she walked for Rohitava Banerjee, Acid NYC, Samantha Leibowitz, Lu Yang, Globe Fashion Week x China Moment, Alice Yim, Cashmere Song, Jody Bell, Minan Wong, Nikistavia, & Olivia B. For S/S18, she walked Michael Costello, BTTN Apparel, Seven Crash, Gemma Hoi and Lavanya Coodly.
Personal Life[]
Mamé and Justin have no longer been a couple since 2017.
