Laura Sioux Kirkpatrick is an American fashion model. She was a contestant on cycle 13 of ANTM in 2009, where she was the runner-up. She later returned for the All-Star cycle in 2011, where she was the eleventh girl eliminated and placed fourth.

Early Life[]

Laura was born in Stanford, Kentucky, to father Greg Kirkpatrick and mother Jodie Hill Jones. She has two younger sisters, Hannah and Jarah, and a younger brother named Jeremy. She previously has worked on her family's farm, where working with cattle was one of her primary jobs.

She had been working as a waitress before the show. She was majoring in art at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky, and was the first in her family to attend college. However, she missed final exams due to the show, which prevented her from advancing from freshman to sophomore.

Cycle 13[]

Laura's cute and energetic personality charmed the judges, but her high fashion photos made the judges see her true potential as a model.

She was also known for wearing custom made outfits by her grandmother, Wanda Sue, to panel. She revealed her dyslexia when she had trouble reading a Tyra mail.

She earned three second-call outs. Laura was chosen to be in the final two over Erin and Jennifer. Despite her great look and improvement, Laura lost the competition to Nicole and was devastated by the outcome.

She was voted fan favorite in a poll the show held after the conclusion of the cycle. As a result, she was awarded a six-month, rent-free apartment stay in New York City to pursue modeling opportunities.

Cycle 17[]

In All-Stars, Laura was the second girl to enter the house. This time round, Laura earned two first call-outs, one for the Michael Jackson photoshoot, and one for the Olympic sport photoshoot in Greece.

Laura was given the branding word loveable. She did portray this well throughout the show, but there was concern over her overt sex appeal in photographs. This put her in the bottom two with Shannon for the Greek salad photoshoot, and was saved. The next episode, she was known for yelling at Angelea at the challenge, because she thought Angelea had a defeatist attitude when all the girls named her the weakest. Laura was sent home in the final four over Allison.
