Keith Kasson Carlos was a contestant on cycle 21 of ANTM in 2014, where he was the winner.
Early Life[]
Before the show, Keith attended Central High School in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and later attended Lackawanna College. He signed with the Philadelphia Eagles of the NFL in 2011. On June 3, 2013, he was signed by the New York Giants. On August 20, 2013, he was waived as injured by the Giants. On August 21, 2013, he cleared waivers and was placed on the Giants' injured reserve list. On August 27, 2013, he was waived with an injury settlement.
He did a photoshoot with Kenya Moore on an episode of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta". He was named Unforgettable Face 2013 by Essence magazine.[1]
ANTM[]
In auditions, Keith immediately had a crush on Kari. He told the judges about his football career, and his look was compared to Tyson Beckford. was the third model called to the final cast.
In episode three, he won the silly string runway challenge and chose Kari to share the Tyra Suite. Later, despite Tyra being uncomfortable with viewers calling out his manaconda, he won the first call-out for the wet and wild photoshoot. He had absolutely no makeover received the next week.
In episode six, despite him and Kari's relationship being more professional on set unlike Denzel and Mirjana, Yu Tsai didn't like his lack of facial expression at the hair shoot. He was in the bottom two, but had a higher score than Ben. In episode seven, he and Denzel had a conversation about Will, where Denzel said he would be embarrassed if Will won because he wears heels. Keith defended Will along with the rest of the house.
In episode eight, he was a team leader at the Nylon TV challenge, where his group won. He won the first call-out for the MCM bag photoshoot in episode twelve. In episode thirteen, he won the second go-see challenge. Later, Shei told him that Chantelle said the two hooked up. Keith confronted her about it, and Chantelle left the room in tears.
In the finale, he had the weakest Guess campaign of all the men, but had a higher score than Lenox, the last girl remaining. He later beat Adam and Will in the finale panel.

Post-Show[]
After the show, Keith collected his prizes, which included a contract with Next Model Management. He was in Mod Magazine, Ellements, Lady Gunn, Jezebel, RGB, REDSKINS - France, Blurred Lines, ABookOf.us, Groomed, Brigitte Magazin, Session, Bello, Sheen, The Quintessential Gentleman, and Kontrol Homme.[2]
He was shot by Mike Rosenthal for a True Religion campaign. He also worked with Men's Wearhouse, Adidas, Adidas Athletics x Reigning Champ, Men's Fashion Post x REVOLVE Man, Honda, Combatant Gentleman, Sunglass Hut, Kmart, Designer Show Warehouse, Glamglow, Reebok Sole Fury, Macy's, Hautelook, Lucky Brand Jeans, Bloomingdale's Father Day, The North Face x Nordstrom Rack, MPG Sport, Kohl's, Vinta and Lole.[3]
Acting & Television[]
Keith played the role of Danny for 23 Episodes of "The Young and the Restless".[4] He played the love interest in the music video for Cardi B's "Be Careful".[5][6]
Personal Life[]
Keith now has a son named Keith Jr., born in 2017.[7][8][9]
Controversy[]
In 2021, Keith posted to his Instagram story criticizing CeCe Telfer, a transgender track runner, competing in the women's NCAA. He compared her to LeBron James and Mike Tyson if they transitioned, and he misgendered her.[10] In December, he defended homophobia on his Instagram story, saying that people have "The freedom to disagree with the lifestyle and not be called names like homophobes".[11]
Trivia[]
- Keith is the first man to win ANTM. He is the second man to win in the franchise, after Oliver Stummvoll from Austria.
- As of 2021, he is the fifth most followed contestant on Instagram, as well as the third most followed man after Don Benjamin and Nyle DiMarco, and third most followed winner after Nyle and Eva Marcille.
- Keith is the only winner who did not get a makeover. He is one of three models in the series to have this distinction, with Natalie Pack and Coura Fall being the other two.
- Keith is the last model who won a cycle which had the numerical scoring system in the final judging.
