Jessica Joan Santiago was a contestant on cycle 12 of ANTM in 2009. She was the second girl eliminated and placed twelfth.

Early Life

Jessica was originally born in Puerto Rico.

In auditions, Jessica said she has never been called ugly in her life. Miss Jay said that she's never been called ugly to her face. She was the twelfth girl called to the final cast.

Jessica struggled in both of her photoshoots, relying too much on her prettiness. In episode three, she spoke with a crystal ball in the confessional room, and predicted she would get first call-out. Later, all the judges hated her lighting photo, with Nolé Marin even calling it an ugly picture. She was eliminated over Fo.

Post-Show

After the show, Jessica signed with Ford Models in Los Angeles. She was in Caras, Casting Magazine Puerto Rico, Tampa Bay Metro, Seminole Player's Life, Gulfshore Life, Cigar Snob, Herald Tribune Style, duPontREGISTRY Tampa Bay, Venue, Indulge, ViV, Style Sarasota, Scene and Family Circle. She has modeled for Kmart, Grey Goose Vodka and Target.

She was a contestant on the third season of NuvoTV's "Model Latina" in 2010. She was one of the runner-ups. She was a contestant in Miss Universe Puerto Rico in 2011, where she placed as the second runner-up.

She was in the episode "Red Alert" of "Love and Hip Hop: New York" in 2014.

Trivia

• Jessica is the third Puerto Rican girl to be selected for the competition, following Season 5 contestants Diane and Season 8 winner Jaslene.
