Jasmia Tyshier Robinson was a contestant on cycle 2 of BNTM in 2006, where she was the second runner-up. She later returned for cycle 18 of ANTM in 2012, where she was the first eliminated.
Early Life[]
Jasmia was born in Hackney, East London, to a Scottish mother and a father of Jamaican descent. Robinson is the second youngest of ten siblings. At four months old, her family moved to Highgate, North London, where she attended Ashmount Primary School and went on to Highgate Wood Performing Arts College.
She trained to be a make-up artist at Barnet College, earning a diploma in Theatrical and Media Makeup. She also graduated from Harrow Wheald College completing an Art History course.

In episode one, at the first runway show challenge, Jasmia swung her jacket at her opponent, AzMarie. Later, she failed to portray John Lennon well at the US vs. UK icons photoshoot. She was put in the bottom two with Ashley, and eliminated because the judges thought Ashley had a better personality.

Post-Show[]
After the show, Jasmia signed with the Charles&Ko Model Agency.[1] She has made TV appearances as a model on programs such as "The Friday Night Project" as one of Kanye West's "Golden Girls", and on BBC 2's "Never Mind the Buzzcocks" as Beyoncé. In 2010 she appeared as an underwear model for Trinny and Susannah on "The Alan Titchmarsh Show".
She was featured as one of the models at the 2010 Afro Hair and Beauty Show with Annaliese.[2] She was the face of the UK hair brand Sensationnel. She also took part in the Mayor of London's Barclays Cycle Hire scheme in 2010.[3] In January 2011, she appeared as a guest speaker at the Inspirational You event celebrating the success of young people.[4]
Personal Life[]
She gave birth to a daughter named Mia Rose in 2014.[5]
Legacy[]
In 2009, she was nominated and won the ‘Best Female Model’ category at the Black Entertainment Fashion, Film and Television Awards (BEFFTAS).[6]

- Jasmia is one of four girls who only appeared in one singular episode of ANTM. She is after Tessa Carlson, Anna Bradfield and Angelia Alvarez.
