Destiny Nicole Strudwick was a contestant on cycle 19 of ANTM in 2012. She was the fourth girl eliminated and placed tenth.
ANTM[]
Destiny represented the Aveda Institute of Columbus. In casting, she reveals that she was kicked out of her house when she 14 years old, was homeless for a period of time, and had to dumpster dive. She was the fifth girl called to the final cast.
In episode two, she did a poor job at the club runway show, and was near the bottom in scores. Kiara gave the advice that she looked too much like a stripper, which offended Destiny. She did another poor job at the taxidermy photoshoot, and was put in the bottom two with Jessie. She had a higher score and was saved.
In episode three, she received a haircut at makeovers. She cried because she was afraid of looking like a lesbian. Tyra was displeased with the cut at judging, and said she was going to get it fixed.
In episode four, she got into a fight with Kristin, because she went into her bag to get a lighter without asking. Later in the kitchen, Kristin taunted Destiny into punching her and getting disqualified, but Destiny didn't do it. She was put in the bottom two again with Yvonne, and this time eliminated.
In episode nine, she placed last in the public vote results.[1] When Kristin was eliminated in the Comeback Series, Destiny was laying on the couch while everyone else was comforting her.[2]
