Cycle 5 of America's Next Top Model premiered on September 21, 2005 on UPN and concluded on December 7, 2005.
Tyra Banks and Nigel Barker return as judges for their fifth and fourth time respectively. Janice Dickinson is replaced by Twiggy, although she does make a guest appearance as a photographer. Nolé Marin is replaced by Miss J Alexander, who is bumped up from a mentor role. The season featured 13 contestants with 12 episodes, including a special reunion episode on "The Tyra Banks Show".
Nicole Linkletter was crowned as the winner of the cycle. Bre Scullark and Lisa D'Amato, who placed third and sixth each, returned for All-Stars in 2011. Bre placed tenth while Lisa won the competition, albeit after Angelea Preston's disqualification.
