Christopher J. Hernandez  better known also Chris Hernandez, was a contestant on cycle 20 of ANTM in 2013. He was the thirteenth model eliminated and placed fourth overall.

ANTM[]

Chris was known as the main villain of the cycle. In auditions, he tried to prank Phil by punching him in the crotch, and the two got into an argument. Nina comforted him after the fight and started their relationship. He was the fourteenth model called to the final cast.

In episode four, Mike told him to shut up, which set him off. After the argument, Cory suggested for him to hold a house meeting to explain why he acts this way. He told everyone that he has abandonment issues from his abusive mother. All the models understood where he was coming from, Jourdan in particular. He later comforted Nina about her broken ankle at the turntable runway challenge. In episode six, he got one of the lowest scores in the Flixel farm challenge, and took his anger out on the other models. Nina tried to comfort him again, but he blew up at her as well, to her shock. She completely ignored him at the nail art shoot.

He had the best photo at the magical field photoshoot in episode eight. Episode ten, he chose Alex, the Comeback Series winner, to share the Guess Closet with him. After the challenge, he wrote a letter to Renee about the dishes, and she got offended when he called her a ratchet ass. The two got into an argument with Jeremy and Jourdan butting in. He later did a bad job at the high school flawsome shoot with Zendaya, and was in the bottom two with Alex. He was the only one present in the bottom two due to medical issues with Alex. He had the higher score.

In episode eleven, Marvin called out Kelly Cutrone giving him an unfairly higher score, which led to an argument. Cory sided with Marvin and called Chris immature. Later, he was the only person not seen comforting Nina at the animorph shoot. In episode twelve, he said that he was the only person in the house who didn't have a friend, upsetting Nina again. Jeremy also called him out for lack of respect. They all placed in the bottom three that judging, with Chris being the one saved, angering everyone.

In episode thirteen, right after judging, all the other models called him out for how badly he treated Nina. He did a poor job at the upside down bat shoot, and was in the bottom three with Renee and Cory. He had a higher score than Renee, but lost to Cory with a 1.5 point difference. In the finale, he was the only original supporter of Jourdan, and later won $1,000 with Mike.

Talia Sperandio stated that he smacked her in the face with a bible, and on January 7, 2017, he banged on her door and insisted another man was inside. Chris stated he never assaulted her, and scratched his cornea during a fashion week. He was acquitted of attempted assault but found guilty of harassment as a violation.[6]

  • He and Chris S. are the only models in ANTM history to have the same name on the same cycle, and not have one of them change their name like in cycle 10 or 11.
