Brittany Elizabeth Markert was a contestant on cycle 13 of ANTM in 2009. She was the ninth girl eliminated and placed sixth.

In auditions, Brittany said that she loved math and was a math major. She was the eighth girl called to the final fourteen.
In episode five, she was deemed the best at the scarf photoshoot, and won immunity. She was given her photo by Tyra during judging critiques. She had a joint first call-out with Rae and Jennifer for the Cirque De Soleil photoshoot the following episode.
Despite her strong performances, she was criticized by the judges for being too calculated. In the episode eight judging, she said she was multidimensional, and Tyra told her "1 + 1 = 3" meaning to loosen up.
In episode nine, she was eliminated over Erin for being too formulaic. Brittany told Tyra that the Hapa photo was her favorite she took.

Post-Show[]
After the show, Brittany signed with Passport Model Management in San Francisco and Paragon Model Management in Mexico City. She was in the magazines w25, C-Heads, Blender, Magnificent, Kalina, Soko, Regia, Fake, Harper's Bazaar Mexico, Nameless, Eve, Vice Mexico, Revista 192, Marie Claire Mexico, Bambi, Nylon Mexico, InFashion Novias, TREATS!, FriGG, Phoenix News, PH, Be Black, Astonish, Beauty & Consequence, Hotshoe and Spirit and Flesh.[1]
She is now working as a photographer and cinematographer.[2][3][4]

- Brittany is the first girl to receive immunity from elimination.
- Brittany mentioned in an interview in 2019 that she is a queer woman.
