Brita Silvija Wald (née Petersons) is an American fashion model. She competed on Cycle 4.

Brita was born in Latvia.

Brita was known for being the oldest at 25, and weighing 138 pounds, which was concerning to the judges. When Miss J came over to measure all the girls, Brita was upset about her hip size. Nolé Marin was surprised when she said her age, and Janice Dickinson thought her name was "Frita".
She was eliminated first over Brandy for having the weakest photo.

After the show, Brita signed with Ford Models. She was in the magazines Brentwood, Surfers, The San Gabriel Valley Tribune, Los Angeles Times and California Apparel News Lingerie.[1]

She's now married to Ryan Wald and they have two sons, Lukas and Markus.

- Brita and Lluvy Gomez are the first models that were born not in the United States.
- Brita is the first model from Europe to compete on ANTM.
- Brita is the first model to receive a makeover and be eliminated first. She would be followed by Lisa Ramos and Gabrielle Kniery.
- Brita is the first model to place 14th at the judging panel, as Magdalena Rivas from Cycle 3 was eliminated outside of the judging panel.
