Amber Nicole DePace was a contestant on cycle 13 of ANTM in 2009. She originally made the final cast, but was removed from the competition and placed fifteenth overall.

Amber was known for being extremely over the top in auditions, and was hyper-religious. She walked strangely up to the judges and when Tyra asked what it was, Amber responded "My catwalk. Meow." The other girls, such as Bianca, thought she was crazy. She was the twelfth girl called to the final cast.
In episode two, Mr. Jay revealed at makeovers that "Due to personal issues" Amber will not be competing, and Lisa took her place.

Reason for Quitting[]
Amber confirmed on an Oliver Twixt interview that the reason she left was because she became paranoid and started losing weight. She was only 90 lbs. when she got home to pack her bags, and her mom decided she should not continue, despite producers insisting on her staying.[1]
Post-Show[]
After the show, Amber took some test shots, and modeled for Cindy's Swimwear, Tomahawk International and Ferocious Couture.[2]
Legacy[]
Amber's clips on the show are the most viewed video related to cycle 13 on YouTube, with over 940,000 views.[3]
Trivia[]
- With Lisa's replacing, Amber is the first girl to place fifteenth.
- Amber is the fourth model to quit the show, following Cassandra Whitehead, Ebony Morgan and Kimberly Rydzewski. She would be followed by Ondrei Edwards, Louise Watts, Alisha White, Maria Tucker, Vega Harlan and Brendi K Seiner.
- She is the first girl to quit off-screen, and the first to quit involuntarily.
- She and Maria Tucker are the only finalists to not appear in the opening credits.
