Alexandra Elise Underwood was a contestant on cycle 14 of ANTM in 2010. She was the tenth girl eliminated and tied for third with Angelea Preston.

Alexandra described herself as a tomboy in auditions. She was the sixth girl called to the final cast.

She is perhaps most infamous for her horrendous performance at the pendulum runway in episode two. She first fell down a flight of stairs before stepping onto the runway, and then mistimed her walk, with the pendulum hitting her from behind, making her fall off the runway. She scraped her knee, as well as ripped her dress.

She was in the bottom two with Tatianna in episode five for having the weakest faux fashion photo, but saved. She was in the bottom two again with Anslee two episodes later, for losing her desire in the competition. She was saved again.

She made a massive improvement in New Zealand, receiving the second call-outs for episodes eight and nine. Her ugly pretty photo in episode ten was also praised by the judges, but she was still eliminated with Angelea because Krista and Raina had a stronger body of work.

Post-Show

After the show, Alexandra signed with Wilhelmina Models in New York City and Models 1 in London.

She was in PLUS Model, Slink, HUF, Vogue.it, Verily and Redbook. She modeled for Macy's, Saks Fifth Avenue, HSN, Athleta, Bare Necessities and Venus.

Trivia

• Alexandra is the third plus-size girl to reach overseas. She is after Robin Manning and Whitney Thompson.
